FreeTheDotYE has launched a bilingual public ledger for Yemen’s .YE namespace:
The ledger creates one English and one Arabic evidence page for every name in the union of our 1,489-domain historical corpus and the public new-domain candidate feed. At launch, that union contains 1,503 unique names. The exact count is calculated again whenever the evidence repositories change.
What each record adds
Each page assembles only sanitized public evidence:
- historical-corpus and new-candidate status;
- public suffix and related hostnames;
- observed registration, nameserver and DNS values;
- Common Crawl and deployed TLS summaries;
- infrastructure relationships; and
- public WARC results where available.
The pages cite the exact public source commits used for generation. A daily, secret-free GitHub workflow regenerates the owned pages only after tests and a complete Zola build pass.
Accountability without blanket attribution
IANA currently lists TeleYemen as the .YE manager. FreeTheDotYE argues that ICANN’s continued delegation leaves Yemen’s national namespace under institutions documented as Houthi-controlled.
The root sitemap includes every generated record, but a sitemap and index,follow metadata can only assist discovery; they cannot guarantee that Google will crawl, index or rank a page. The generator is designed around record-specific evidence rather than keyword-only copies, consistent with Google’s indexing guidance and scaled-content policy.
